Garamut na Mambu Festival

先週の金曜と土曜日に開催されたお祭り。
Garamutは丸太をくりぬいて作った太鼓
Mambuはbambooと同義、竹です。

地元セピック地方や遠くはハイランドからも
多くのシンシン（singsing：儀式のための歌と踊り）グループが
熱演を繰り広げておりました。
もうシャッター切りまくり。

彼が手に持っているのは「Kundu」といって
パプアニューギニアを代表する太鼓。
単純な「ブンブンブン」という低い音しかでませんが
単純な音やリズムというのは繰り返されると
人間を高揚させる効果があるので
聴いているほうは自然とわくわくしてきます。

I went to Garamut and Mambu Festival on last Saturday.
Garamut means one of drum made from log.
Mambu means "bamboo".
Many singsing(sing and dance for them ritual) group came
and put a lot of spirit into their performance.
So I shoot many many pictures!

He has a drum named "Kundu" which is a typical of Papua New Guinea.
That sound is very simple, low bend down sound.
But this type sound makes us uplift.
